Ayodhya endured much humiliation, but no more: UP CM

Ayodhya, Nov 13 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that there has been a lot of injustice meted out to the Ayodhya of Sri Ram.

''Ayodhya, which gives salvation to both birth and life, has been humiliated for years due to the negative thinking of some people. But now, this will not happen.
''Ayodhya will get its long lost pride. We will make it glorious on the world map as a Vedic City,'' said the Chief Minister, while addressing the state after the symbolic coronation of Shri Ram at the 'Divya Deepotsav' here.
He said that till three years ago in Ayodhya, where Deepotsav is being celebrated, some people were afraid to even utter the name of Ayodhya. Now, everything has changed, people want to come to Ayodhya.
''We will re-establish every holy place,'' he added.
All the facilities of devotees or tourists will be taken care of, assured Mr Adityanath, while pointing out how till a few years ago, the incumbent governments used to ban trips like Panchkosi, 14 Kosi and 84 Kosi.
''Today, the facilities are being increased here. This is a matter related to our identity,'' he noted.

Mr Adityanath said that this moment of Prabhu Shri Ram coming back from exile is very holy.
''Deepawali is a festival for every Indian, symbolising our pride and spiritual peace. The Sri Rama Janmabhoomi temple was fought for generations for years.

''Millions of people sacrificed their lives. Today, this five-century wait has been completed under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
''We should be proud this time that we are in such a period when the dream of the grand divine temple of Shri Ram is coming true. The Prime Minister has resolved to embody the concept of Ram Rajya by laying the foundation stone of the temple of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in the Corona period. This determination will come true,'' he added.

The Chief Minister said that Ayodhya Deepotsav is an effort to carry forward the concept of Ram Rajya. Ram Rajya is a symbol of a society without discrimination. This is the basis of the policies of Modi government at the Centre.
Efforts like Ujjwala Yojana, Saubhagya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana and construction of toilets are filling the lives of everyone in the same spirit, beyond caste, religion, creed, religion. During the Corona era, public service was done with promptness.

The Chief Minister said that with concerted efforts under the guidance of the Prime Minister, ''we will be revealing India's cultural and religious wealth on the world stage''.
He said that efforts were made to connect Fiji, Thailand, Japan and Nepal to Ayodhya on the global stage. Now, an international airport is being built here.
While Shri Ram had to suffer a lot on the Van Gaman Path, the Government of Uttar Pradesh is now getting the work done to improve facilities on the 'Ram Van Gamaan Path'. In the coming time, it will be able to reach Ayodhya to Chitrakoot in just three-and-a-half hours.
Ayodhya will be branded globally under the direction of saints. The Chief Minister also informed about the ongoing and future projects for multi-faceted development of Ayodhya as the air ranted with slogans of Jai Shri Ram in an atmosphere full of enthusiasm.

Governor Anandiben Patel, while congratulating the people of the state for the Deepotsav, said Ram is a symbol of Indian identity and appreciated the work being done in the public interest by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that he hailed from Shringverpur and described himself as a Ram Sevak. He termed the celebration of Deepotsav by the Chief Minister as a reflection of public aspirations.
Earlier in a welcome address, Religious Affairs Minister Neelkanth Tiwari, while speaking on the grandeur of the city of Ayodhya, described the beginning of the Deepotsav by the Yogi government as a wonderful effort and said that Ayodhya will be glorified all over the world under the leadership of Mr Adityanath.
