BJP MP escapes unhurt in a road accident

Sambalpur, Nov 13 (UNI) BJP MP from Sambalpur Nitish Ganga Deb had a providential escape when a truck hit his car while he was returning to Deogarh from Sambalpur.

The accident took place on NH 55 (Kolkata Mumbai road) at Khurada, 5 km before Deogarh town last night.

A truck hit the car of Gangdev from the back as both the vehicles had to apply sudden brake due to the miserable condition of the road.

However, the MP is safe without any major injury to him or his vehicle.

Police rushed to the spot, seized the truck and took the driver into custody.
