New Delhi, November 12

In a bid to provide relief to pensioners amid the Covid pandemic, the government has launched a doorstep service for the submission of digital life certificate (DLC) through postmen of India Post Payments Bank (IPPB).

To avail the services of the “Digital Life Certificate through Postman”, the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare, in an official statement, has asked beneficiaries to get detailed information on the IPPB website.

“It is a chargeable service and will be available to all Central government pensioners across the country,” the government said in the statement.

The IPPB will utilise its huge network of postmen and gramin dak sevaks to ensure doorstep facility to pensioners.
