    Guar Seed futures decline on low demand

    Synopsis

    Marketmen attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supplies from growing regions.

    the futures prices decreased Rs 26, or 0.61 per cent, to Rs 4,220 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 58,865 lots.
    Guar seed prices on Thursday went down by Rs 31 to Rs 4,164 per 10 quintal in futures trade.
    On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for November delivery was trading at Rs 4,164 down by Rs 31, or 0.74 per cent per 10 quintal with an open interest of 8,230 lots.

    For December delivery, the futures prices decreased Rs 26, or 0.61 per cent, to Rs 4,220 per 10 quintal with an open interest of 58,865 lots.
