US President-elect Joe Biden has chosen long-time aide Ron Klain as his chief of staff.
Mr Klain first worked for Mr Biden in 1989 when the latter was a US senator.
He was also in charge of the US response to the Ebola crisis under Barack Obama in 2014 when Mr Biden was vice president.
The 59-year-old was also Mr Biden's vice presidential chief of staff and a senior adviser in the presidential campaign.

Mr Biden said: "Ron has been invaluable to me over the many years that we have worked together, including as we rescued the American economy from one of the worst downturns in our history in 2009 and later overcame a daunting public health emergency in 2014."
Mr Klain said: "It's the honour of a lifetime to serve President-elect Biden in this role, and I am humbled by his confidence. I look forward to helping him and the Vice President-elect assemble a talented and diverse team to work in the White House."
Mr Klain, who graduated from Harvard Law School, is married to Monica Medina and they have three grown children.
