New Delhi: Jubilant FoodWorks, which operates Domino's Pizza and Dunkin Donuts restaurant chains, on Thursday reported near flat standalone net profit at Rs 76.91 crore for the September quarter, against Rs 75.92 crore in the corresponding year ago quarter.
Sales for the quarter ended September 30 fell 18.2% to Rs 805.50 crore, down from Rs 988.23 crore year-on-year, as the pandemic continued to impact dine-in sales.
The company said in a statement it continued to face challenges in the external environment with the increased spread of Covid-19. The JFL management said despite the Covid-induced challenges, its revenues recovered substantially and margins improved compared to last year, underlining the resilience of its business model.
JFL chief executive Pratik Pota said the numbers were driven by delivery and takeaway channels growing over last year. “Our Covid-19 response strategy is working and we are optimistic about navigating challenges in the months ahead,” he said in a statement.
