Chandigarh, November 12

Chandigarh administration on Wednesday have decided to continue the cracker ban. The order was passed under the Disaster Management Act, 2005. 

Chandigarh is one of the Non-Attainment cities included in the list, notified by Central Pollution Control Board. UT Adviser Manoj Parida has rejected the review on cracker ban by the traders. 

On review of the covid situation, it was noted that the number of COVID positive cases are rising in the UT.
