Bollywood actor found hanging in his rented apartment at McLeodganj

Dharamshala, Nov 12 (UNI) A Bollywood Actor Asif Basra who was living in a rented apartment at Jogiwara Road at McLeodganj was found hanging in his room on Thursday, police said here.
Vimukut Ranjan Senior Superintendent of Police district Kangra told UNI that 53-year-old Bollywood actor was found hanging in his rented apartment at Jogiwara Road at McLeodganj on Thursday.
SSP said that he was living in this rented apartment since September this year. He said soon after the police received the information, a police party was rushed to the spot along with a forensic team and found the
bollywood actor hanging. He said the body was recovered and examined.

He said that the postmortem of the body will be conducted Friday.
SSP said the investigation was started under section 174 Criminal Procedure code in this case. He said Bollywood Actor Asif Basra was living in Mumbai before he arrived here in September this year.
When asked if Bollywood Actor Asif Basra was living in the apartment alone or someone else was living there with him? SSP Ranjan replied the things are being verified in this connection. He said he was rushing to the spot to look into the matter personally.
