The Lions have made several changes to their side for Saturday night's Super Rugby Unlocked clash against the Pumas in Johannesburg.

The pack of forwards has been bolstered by the return of Springboks Ruan Dreyer, who starts at loosehead prop, and Willem Alberts, who slots in at lock.

Reinhard Nothnagel also gets a start and will partner Alberts in the second row.

Alberts returns after having been one of the players who has missed out for the last two weeks having come into contact with the coronavirus.

The backline sees two changes with another Springbok in Ross Cronje returning at scrumhalf while Tiaan Swanepoel is the man tasked with replacing the in-form Gianni Lombard, who has been ruled out with injury for the season.

Kick-off is at 16:30.
