Govt keen to resolve standoff with farmers

New Delhi: Ahead of the meeting between farmer unions and Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar and Piyush Goyal on November 13, official sources said the Centre was keen on ending the impasse at the earliest. It also wanted train services to be resumed in Punjab in view of festivals such as ‘Chhath puja’ coming up later this month. — TNS
