Hyderabad: Telangana State Planning Board vice-chairman B Vinod Kumar on Wednesday described Telangana especially Hyderabad as a haven for investments and sought the Union External Affairs Ministry to promote the State prominently abroad. He also wanted the Ministry officials to promote Telangana tourism among foreign tourists visiting the country.
Vinod Kumar called on Officer on Special Duty for Union Ministry of External Affairs and IFS officer C Rajashekhar in New Delhi on Wednesday. He invited Rajashekhar to the State and attend a high-level meeting with top officials in the State administration to discuss investment as well as tourism opportunities in the State.
The TSPB vice-chairman explained the State’s industrial policy TS-iPASS and uninterrupted quality power supply, water resources, agricultural development, IT exports and also presence of major multi national companies in the State. He also brought to the notice of the OSD the heritage structures, tourist spots, forests, eco-tourism and other tourism opportunities in the State.
