BJP's Ghuge files nomination from Marathwada Graduate seat

Aurangabad, Nov 11 (UNI) BJP's Pravin Ghuge on Wednesday filed his nomination papers for the Marathwada Graduate constituency, claiming that the party has instructed him to do so.
His move comes a day after BJP fielded Shirish Boralkar, said to be a close confidante of Devendra Fadnavis, from the same seat.
However, there are whispers that a section of the party was not happy with Mr Boralkar’s name and expected OBC face Mr Ghuge as the rightful contender.
Exuding confidence of winning the seat, Mr Ghuge asserted that NCP, which has represented the seat for the past 12 years, ''failed to solve the problems in this constituency''.
''As I am a loyal BJP activist, I will abide by the party decision,'' he added.
Mr Boralkar will most probably file his nomination paper tomorrow, as it is the last date to complete the formality.
Adding up to the poll heat, former BJP MLC Jaisinghrao Gaikwad is contesting as an Independent from the same seat, after the party apparently denied him ticket.
