Djhanteras 2020: On the occassion of Dhanteras, Dhanvantari who is also worshipped by Hindus is considered the God of Ayurveda who imparted the wisdom of Ayurveda for the betterment of mankind, and to help rid it of the suffering of disease. Indian government announced that Dhanteras day observed as 'National Ayurveda Day' and was first observed on October 28, 2016.
