    Silver futures drop on subdued demand

    Silver traded lower by 0.81 percent at USD 24.27 per ounce in New York.

    Silver contracts for December delivery tumbled by Rs 628, or 1 per cent, to Rs 62,416 per kg in a business turnover of 12,957 lots.
    Silver futures on Wednesday dropped by Rs 628 to Rs 62,416 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.
    On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for December delivery tumbled by Rs 628, or 1 per cent, to Rs 62,416 per kg in a business turnover of 12,957 lots.
