Biker mow down by speeding tipper in Anantnag

Srinagar, Nov 11 (UNI) A motorcyclist was on Wednesday killed by a speeding tipper in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.

Official sources said a speeding tipper hit a motorcyclist in Dooru in Anantnag on Wednesday, resulting in his on the spot death. “The deceased was identified as 19-year-old Shakeel-ur-Rehman,” they said.

They said after completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites. “Police have registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident,” they added.
