240 boxes of illegal liquor being smuggled to Bihar seized, two arrested

Hazaribagh, Nov 11 (UNI) A joint team of the Barhi and Padma police has seized 240 boxes of the illegal country-made liquor which was being smuggled in a truck to the neighbouring state of Bihar.
SDPO Manish Kumar on Wednesday said that the truck was caught during a vehicle checking drive on the NH-33 after which the driver Mohammed Arman and cleaner Sonu Kumar have been arrested.
He said that a tip-off had been received that huge quantity of country-made illegal liquor was being smuggled into Bihar after which the police conducted vehicle checking drive at Itkhori Modi and made the seizure.

Bhubaneswar, Nov 11 (UNI) Notwithstanding the challenging business environment, National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) registered a net profit of Rs 107.45 crore in Q2 of FY 2020-21
During the quarter, the revenue from operations has been Rs 2375 crore, registering 72 per cent growth over Q1 of FY2020-21.
