AFL trade period live: GWS reject Cats' latest offer for Cameron

GWS have rejected Geelong's latest offer of two first-round draft picks for Jeremy Cameron.

Sources said the Cats' offer centred on picks 15 and 20 for Cameron, for whom they were forced to trade after GWS matched his contract terms as a restricted free agent.

GWS, having insisted they wanted a player brought in as part of the exchange, rejected the latest Cats deal, saying Geelong's first draft pick at 13 must as a minimum be part of any exchange.

They are also interested in a future first-round draft pick.
