Rajasthan: Principal of Navodaya Vidyalaya arrested taking bribe!

In Rajasthan, the Prevention of Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested the principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya at Tilwasani in Jodhpur district today while taking a bribe of Rs 10,000.


Additional Superintendent of Police, Dr. Durg Singh Singh Rajpurohit, in the Special Unit at the Jodhpur headquarters of the Bureau said that the complainant Nand Kishore Pareek complained to the Bureau that his firm had installed CCTV cameras at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya located at Tilwasani, against which the bill was passed. Principal Dharmendra Kumar Jain demanded a bribe of Rs. 40,000. He put 25 thousand rupees in his bank account. Now he is demanding a separate gift of Rs. 10,000 as a gift besides the remaining 15 thousand rupees.

He said that on this, the bureau verified the complaint, then it was confirmed to ask for a bribe. On this, the bureau laid a trap and arrested Principal Dharmendra Kumar Jain at about nine o'clock in the morning taking a bribe of Rs. 10,000 at his residence. The operation of the bureau is in progress.
