    Crude oil futures decline on low demand

    Synopsis

    Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil fell by 0.27 per cent to USD 40.40 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading lower by 0.52 per cent at USD 42.62 per barrel in New York.

    On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for November delivery eased by Rs 2, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 2,999 per barrel with a business volume of 2,798 lots.
    New Delhi: Crude oil futures on Tuesday fell by 0.07 per cent to Rs 2,999 per barrel as participants reduced their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for November delivery eased by Rs 2, or 0.07 per cent, to Rs 2,999 per barrel with a business volume of 2,798 lots.
