The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has crossed halfway mark as per the Election Commission of India's (ECI) latest trends for all 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly elections 2020 on Tuesday.
While the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan or Grand Alliance did have an edge initially, it started to lag behind that the NDA overtook it with a significant gap. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) looks set to emerge as the single-largest party in Bihar polls as it is leading on 73 seats in the state, as per the Election Commission of India's initial trends.
With the NDA looking to secure a win in the elections, Congress party has once again questioned the integrity of the elections claiming that the EVMs were hacked. National Spokesperson of AICC, Dr Udit Raj, took to Twitter questioning that if the directions of spacecraft going towards Mars and moon can be controlled, why can't the EVMs be hacked?"
"When the direction of the devices going towards Mars and moon can be controlled from the Earth then why can't the EVMs be hacked?', he tweeted.
In another tweet, the leader asked if Donald Trump would have lost the US elections had America conducted elections through EVMs.

Notably, BJP is marching ahead as per the early trends and has emerged as the single-largest party, having an upper hand over JDU.
While Mahagathbandhan is ahead on 105 seats, NDA is leading on 127 seats at the time of writing this report.
Counting of votes polled in Bihar Assembly elections began at 8 am on Tuesday at 55 counting centres across 38 districts of the state.
