48 new corona virus cases have been confirmed in Arunachal Pradesh. After this the total cases have increased to 15,484. An official said on Tuesday that the new patients included an Assam Rifles soldier and a health worker. Surveillance Officer (SSO) Dr Lobsang Jampa said that three cases have been confirmed by the TRUNAT method while 45 of the infected have been detected by the Rapid antigen test.
He said that the rate of infection in the state is 9.81 percent. He said that symptoms of the disease were seen only in 16 patients, with no symptoms in the rest. He is admitted to Kovid Care Center.
Dr. Jampa informed that 85 patients have been discharged from hospitals on Monday. After this, a total of 13,966 patients have become infection-free.
He said that the rate of infection-free in the state is 90.19 percent while the death rate is 0.29 percent. There are 1472 patients undergoing treatment in Arunachal Pradesh. Dr. Jampa informed that 3,34,117 samples have been tested in the state so far. Of these, 1715 samples have been tested on Monday.
