Dollar Industries Q2 FY21 revenue grows 6.24% to ₹259 cr

Dollar Industries Limited, an India-based leading garment & hosiery company, reported 6.24 per cent revenue growth to ₹258.98 crore in its second quarter (Q2) FY21 that ended on June 30, 2020, compared to the revenue of ₹243.76 crore in the same period previous fiscal. Company’s EBITDA for the quarter rose to ₹36.67 crore (Q2 FY20: ₹23.82 crore).
 
“The company has started normalcy operations both in production and supply chain. The company experts have been working on ways to improve its revenue and curb its expenses which has us to achieve the growth in the second quarter both in revenue and profit. We will continue with our endeavour to increase both our top and bottom line,” Vinod Kumar Gupta, managing director, Dollar Industries Limited, said in a press release.
 
Profit after tax (PAT) during Q2 FY21 was ₹22.37 crore (₹13.66 crore). 
 
“Today’s scenario calls for clean and green working environment and be a responsible corporate. The company has been working reducing its carbon footprint. In continuation with this effort, the company has installed a 4 MW solar plant in Tirupur which will not only help to reduce cost but also help curbing CO2 emission by 9000 Kgs/day with a sustainable environment,” Gupta said.
