Even though the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) looks close to a majority in the early trends in the counting of Bihar assembly elections, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), which is in the Grand Alliance, has not given up hope. Exuding confidence, RJD spokesman Manoj Jha said that the exit poll will be converted into an actual vote.

Talking to the reporters, Jha said that these are just initial trends and the Grand Alliance will go above 122 seats.

The RJD MP also said that there will be a young Chief Minister in Bihar, adding that everything will be clear by 7-8 pm.

Counting of votes for the 243 seats of Bihar Legislative Assembly is underway, in which the NDA is leading in 130 seats while the Mahagathbandhan is ahead in 102 seats.

38 Vidhan Sabha constituencies face stiff, less than a thousand votes difference

Counting of four rounds has been completed for a total of 243 seats in Bihar assembly elections.
