Invalidating all the exit polls in the Bihar election results 2020, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is inching towards victory as per the early trends from the Election Commission of India.

But there is a twist - BJP is emerging as the single-largest party. According to the trends so far, the BJP, the JDU-led NDA is seen crossing the magical figure of 123 with 130 seats.

In the last assembly elections, BJP won 53 seats. This time BJP is looking ahead in 74 seats this time. JDU is leading in 48 seats and Allied VIP 8 seats. On the other hand, if we talk about the opposition Mahagathbandhan  (Grand Alliance), the RJD is looking ahead in 60 and Congress 21 seats. That is, it is clear from these trends that this time the BJP is emerging as the single largest party in the election race.

The million-dollar question that emerges from the numbers is that now that BJP has emerged as the largest party in power, will Nitish Kumar still be the Chief Minister? The question arises because, in terms of political equations, the BJP has now come into the role of 'elder brother' in Bihar. However, before the elections, the BJP had said that even if they get more seats, Nitish Kumar will still remain the Chief Minister.

However, now that BJP has got more seats than JDU, the demand to get the Chief Minister's chair within the party may arise.

Meanwhile, with the NDA looking to secure a win in the elections, Congress party has once again questioned the integrity of the elections claiming that the EVMs were hacked.  National Spokesperson of AICC, Dr Udit Raj, took to Twitter questioning that if the directions of spacecraft going towards Mars and moon can be controlled, why can't the EVMs be hacked?"

"When the direction of the devices going towards Mars and moon can be controlled from the Earth then why can't the EVMs be hacked?', he tweeted.

In another tweet, the leader asked if Donald Trump would have lost the US elections had America conducted elections through EVMs.
