Punjab reports 491 new COVID-10 cases, 20 deaths

Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], November 10 (ANI): As many as 491 new COVID-19 cases, 362 discharges and 20 deaths were reported in Punjab, as per the State Health and Family Welfare Department on Tuesday.
Total positive cases due to the disease rose to 1,38,485 including 1,29,089 discharges and 4,385 deaths so far. The active cases in Punjab stood at 5,038.
Meanwhile, with 38,074 new COVID-19 infections reported in the last 24 hours, India's total cases surged to 85,91,731, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Tuesday.
As many as 448 fatalities reported in the last 24 hours took the national death toll to 1,27,059. (ANI)
