Ferozepur, November 9
Punjab State Commission for Protection of Child Rights chairman Rajinder Singh today met the family members of the three-year-old girl who was allegedly raped by her father here. The incident took place at Habib Wala village two days ago following which the police had registered a case and arrested the accused.
Rajinder Singh told mediapersons he had given instructions to officers to complete the probe at the earliest. “I have also instructed the Secretary, DLSA, to coordinate in providing financial relief to the victim’s family,” he said. — OC
