Sikkim CM, others bid tearful adieu to ex-CM Limboo

Gangtok, Nov 10 (UNI) The state of Sikkim, particularly West Sikkim, was swept by a wave of sadness, when the pyre of fourth Chief Minister of the state Sanchaman Limboo (June to December 1994) was lit.
CM PS Tamang went all the way to Hee
Gaon village,West Sikkim, for paying tributes to late Limboo. Sikkim
Sewa Ratna Awardee, Late Limboo has been cremated with three gun
salute ,full State honour on the bank of Callege River.
Prominent among those who attended the funeral,include Deputy Speaker
Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Sangay Lepcha,Cabinet Ministers,MLAs,MP
Lok Sabha Indra Hang ,Advisors to Govt.Chairmen of various Boards &
Commissions.
Sikkim Govt had declared holiday,no offices and educational
institutions functioned,there were no State Online classes.
Public from different parts of State also reached Hee Gaon.
