MADURAI: Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami will review the Covid-19 preparedness and status of various developmental projects in three southern districts on Tuesday and Wednesday. The CM will also lay the foundation stone for various projects and inaugurate completed projects.
After reaching Tuticorin on Tuesday morning, the CM will head to Kanyakumari where he will chair a review meeting. He will also conduct separate interactions with industrialists, fishermen, farmers and members of self-help groups and interact with journalists.
He will head to Tuticorin on Wednesday morning. After dedicating a state-of-the-art cancer facility in Tuticorin Government Medical College and Hospital, he will head to the collectorate, where he will chair the review meet and take part in government programmes.
After interacting with representatives of the industry, fishermen, farmers and SHG members, he will head to Virudhunagar to take part in the review meeting in the afternoon and similar events thereafter.
This is the fourth time that the CM’s visit to Tuticorin has been scheduled as the first previous visits were cancelled due to various reasons.
