Harish Rawat criticises Central govt for its failure

Ambala, Nov 9 (UNI)Former Uttrakhand Chief Minister and Punjab Congress Committee Incharge Harish Rawat criticized the Central government for its failure to deliver the goods. He said that it was heartening that Democrat Party candidate Joe Biden had won the election of Presidency in America. This is for the benefit of India. Biden had said to take everyone with him in the world while no one had said so while in power earlier.

This he said while interacting with presspersons at the Circuit House Ambala Cantt Monday. He said that our economy was in bad shape due to demonetization. The GDP had gone down and was in danger. He pointed out that the spectre of unemployment was standing unvanquished. The decisions taken by the government during previous days were not aimed at solving the problem of unemployment. It does not have any meaning on how much money was granted by the government to ameliorate the problems of the unemployed.

The Punjab I/C Rawat said that the Central government was discriminating Punjab in providing facilities to lift the harvested crops of farmers. Instead, the movement of goods trains had been stopped as a result the paddy was lying without lifting. He said that the government had to announce the MSP on which the farmers could sell their produce. He said that the Punjab Chief Minister Amrinder Singh would not allow the conditions to deteriorate to harm the interests of farmers.

In reply to a question, Rawat Said that Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had proved a failure in tackling the problem of unemployment and it won't’ be solved by announcing 75 per cent reservation to the youth of Haryana in their state.
