SubjectFATF Public Statements after October 2020 Plenary

SEBI has informed the Exchange that:

1.   As part of the on-going efforts to identify and work with jurisdictions with strategic AML / CFT deficiencies, FATF has released Public Statements after October 2020 Plenary.

2.    It is highlighted that the Iceland and Mongolia are no longer subjected to increased

       monitoring based on the decision made at the October 2020 Plenary.”

 

In view of the above, members are advised that it does not preclude regulated entities from legitimate trade and business transactions with these countries and jurisdictions.

 

Members are advised to take note of the above for necessary actions and compliances.
