Lincoln Project Shifts Focus To Georgia Runoff Elections

With the presidential race decided (except for Trump’s ridiculous voter fraud challenges winding through the courts) the Lincoln Project isn’t resting on its laurels.

No doubt the super PAC’s barrage of anti-Trump ads helped persuade some voters to throw him out of office.

Now the group is setting its sights on another important target for the Democrats—the Georgia runoff races for the U.S. Senate in January. Both seats are held by republicans and a flip to Democrats would give the party control of the Senate and Congress.

So far, the LP has launched a broadside on Georgia Senator David Perdue that largely uses his opponent Jon Ossoff’s words to call out Perdue’s self-dealing and denial of a health crisis in the state as COVID-19 cases were spiking there and killing citizens.
