Demonetisation transformed India: MP CM

Bhopal, Nov 8 (UNI) On the fourth ‘anniversary’ of demonetisation, Premier Narendra Modi was felicitated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the measure to strengthen the economy.
“Indeed, the decision heralded commencement of an era as it proved tremendously beneficial vis-à-vis reining in graft that was being perpetrated for years. The step enhanced citizens’ confidence in Mr Modi’s leadership, encouraged digitalisation, resulted in greater transparency, brought about a revolutionary transformation in monetary transactions, dealt a death blow to counterfeiters and enhanced tax revenue. I salute Mr Modi for his foresight and sensitivity. My gratitude to him,” the senior politician conveyed via social media.
