In a virtual event organised online through Webex, Facebook and YouTube yesterday, Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh inaugurated 1,467 smart schools across the state while launching Mission Shat Pratishat for the year 2020-21. Of the 1,467 schools, 112 were of the district.
Teachers, panchayat members, school management committee members and students of classes IX to XII took part in the ceremony. The students welcomed guests with rangolis. Covid protocols were followed strictly during the event.
