Hollywood actor Robert Parham joins Babu Antony’s Power Star

Director Omar Lulu’s Power Star promises to pack a punch, at least in terms of its casting. After Louis Mandylor, the latest Hollywood actor to be part of the Babu Antony-starrer is former five-time World Kickboxing Champion Robert Parham. On roping in Parham for the Malayalam film, Omar tells us, “The movie has a lot of importance to the stunt sequences. It’s an action thriller, a genre that’s not much explored in Malayalam. The story had scope for a foreign actor and Babu chettan said he knew Louis Mandylor and that’s how he came onboard. And then we wanted somebody to play this villain character who has a few interesting sequences. We again asked Babu chettan if he knew someone who would fit the role and he had suggested Robert Parham. In 2018, they had worked together in Bullets Blade and Blood, in which Robert played the lead, and they had been friends since then. So, Babu chettan talked to him and he agreed to be part of our film.”
