Palghar records 2nd mild tremor in 12 hours

Thane/Palghar, Nov 9 (UNI) In a span of around 12 hours, another earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale jolted a village in Talasari taluka of Palghar district on Monday, informed Thane civic body RDMC chief Santosh Kadam.

No damage to life or property was reported due to the tremor recorded at 16.17.46 hours, he stated, adding that location of the earthquake was said to be a village in Talasari.

In an odd coincidence, the early morning tremor has also struck a village in Talasari and measured the same intensity of 3.4 magnitude.
