Bollywood drug nexus case: Special NDPS Court adjourns hearing on Deepika Padukone's ex-manager Karishma Prakash's bail plea

A Special NDPS Court on Saturday adjourned the hearing on a pre-arrest bail plea of Deepika Padukone's ex-manager Karishma Prakash in the on-going Bollywood drug nexus case till November 10. The court gave interim relief to Prakash and stated that no 'coercive' action can be taken by the NCB against her as of now. To elaborate on the same, this means that the NCB cannot arrest Karishma Prakash. However, a special public prosecutor pointed out that Prakash will have to cooperate with the NCB during the probe if at all the need arises. Meanwhile, the NCB is investigating the alleged drug nexus in Bollywood post the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
