The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Delhi Police has filed a lawsuit against lobbyist Neera Radia and her company Nayati Healthcare in a Rs 300 crore bank loan fraud. On the complaint of orthopedic surgeon Rajiv Sharma, Delhi Police has registered a case against Radia, his company, Karuna Menon, Satish Narula, and Yatish Vahl.

Radia is the chairperson and promoter of Nayati Healthcare and she has been in the discussion a few years back about the 2G spectrum scam and the controversial tape scandal.

Apart from Nayati lodged in the FIR, another company, Narayani Investment Private Limited, has been accused of misappropriation of more than Rs 300 crore, which was obtained through a loan taken from a bank. The two companies have been charged with embezzlement and forgery of Rs 312.50 crore between 2018-2020 in Gurugram and Vimhans Hospital Delhi Premade Hospital projects.

According to sources, the two companies embezzled crores by opening fake accounts in the name of various well-known contractors and transferring the amount of bank loans directly to these accounts. Sharma alleges that more than Rs 400 crore worth of debt and equity money has been withdrawn, while the condition of the Gurugram hospital building has become 'worse than ever'.
