Nashik, Nov 8 (UNI) The COVID-19 recovery rate of the district has further improved to 95.22 per cent while there are 2,856 active cases under medical supervision, District General Hospital RMO Dr Anant Pawar stated on Sunday.
He further said the highest 95.58 per cent recovery rate is in the city areas followed by Nashik Rural (94.77), Malegaon (93) and district non-natives category (94.08).
With a total pandemic tally of 95,351, the highest 1,915 patients are from the limits of the Nashik Municipal Corporation. The cases in the range of 100-500 are from Malegaon civic body limits, Nashik Rural and Sinnar. .
The remaining cases, in two digits, are from the district non-natives category, Chandwad, Dindori, Niphad, Nandgaon, Yeola, Trimbakeshwar, Baglan, Igatpuri and Malegaon Rural.
With just 2 patients, Peth has the lowest case count trailed by Deola (3), Surgana (4), district non-natives category (5) and Kalvan (6). Of the total caseload, 90,796 people have been cured while 1,699 others have died of the contagion till now.
