Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde files fresh bail plea for her Showik Chakraborty in Special NDPS Court

Almost a month after the Bombay High Court rejected actress Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty's bail plea, he has now filed a fresh bail application in the Special NDPS Court. As per the reports, Showik has sought the bail application citing a recent ruling by the Supreme Court that stated statements made before NCB officials cannot be considered as 'confessions'. Meanwhile, Chakraborty's lawyer, Satish Maneshinde, has also stated that since no drugs were recovered from Showik's possession, there is no reason at all to keep him behind the bars.
