CHANDIGARH: Gurugram continued to top the daily count and Hisar reported maximum deaths as 2011 new cases and 17 deaths took Haryana’s Covid count to 180424 cases and 1897 deaths on Saturday evening.
The recovery rate in the state dipped to 90.24% even as 1638 recoveries of the day took the overall total to 162814. Now there are 15713 active cases in the state out of whom 245 are critical and are on
oxygen support as well as ventilator support in Covid care centres across the state. In what appear to be relief the doubling rate has gone upto 56 days.
According to information, besides recording the maximum six deaths from Hisar, three deaths have occurred in Bhiwani, two each from Palwal,
Panipat and Faridabad and one each from Gurugram and Sirsa districts.
Gururam topped districts with 523 new cases which took the overall tally to 33792 and 225 with/4633 active patients. Faridabad reported 421 new cases which too the overall tally to 27716 cases with 261 deaths and/1954 active cases.
Hisar reported third highest 262 cases of the day which took overall tally of the district to 11481with 148 deaths and total 1902 active cases, Rewari reported 108 where total has gone to 8379 and
Rohtak reported 105 new cases where total has gone to 8448.
91 new cases were reported from Sonipat, 80 in Sirsa, 75 in
Jhajjar, 65 in Bhiwani and 60 in
Panchkula .
Notably, five districts have reported less than 50 cases and there were five such districts where less than 10 cases were reported with minimum one case from
Jind district.
Meanwhile, number of persons tested so far as gone to 2809277 which pushed the testing rate to 110820 tests per million per day.
