Even though it might be more low-key this year, Diwali is just around the corner, which will call for makeup and hairstyle looks to go with your kurtas and saris. Priyanka Chopra marked Karva Chauth with Nick Jonas in Los Angeles, but pulled out a bright and celebratory red-on-red look nevertheless. She wore bright red lipstick and blush across her cheeks, and filled in her brows to frame her red bindi. A fresh blowout completed the look. Samantha Akkineni wore her hair in a loose chignon, leaving a twisted and curled tendril out at the front. The actor matched her matte brown lipstick to her light sari, creating a sweet and cheerful look you can cop now. If you're wearing a very a dramatic outfit like Malaika Arora, it pays to keep your makeup simple—a rose-pink lipstick and blush across her cheeks tied it all together. 

If you're going the minimal pick for your festive beauty look, there is inspiration for that too. Look to Janhvi Kapoor's simple blue eyeliner or Karisma Kapoor's dark underlined smudged across the waterline. Katrina Kaif may be pairing this makeup look with a cheery yellow dress, but her monochromatic makeup look will work for any outfit you choose to wear. Just sweep bronzer across your cheekbones, highlighter where the light will catch your face, and apply a light pink lipstick to cop the look.

Even if they may not have had a major outfit picked out for Halloween, celebrities proved that you can use makeup to put a great transformation together. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja shared a video of her makeup artist swiping on red lipstick, buffing on a lighter-shade foundation and drawing on a beauty spot as she dressed up as Marilyn Monroe. Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber shared close-ups of their Halloween makeup created by Sam Visser. The former went with a Roy Lichtenstein-like pop art look, while Gerber wore a voluminous hairdo and purple eyeshadow to be Priscilla Presley. Alaya F, who loves playing with makeup to create dramatic beauty looks, painted a pop art look this year, while Bhumi Pednekar used yellow eyeshadow, a black eye pencil and pink lipstick to create a spooky look for her at-home Halloween celebration.
