Election Bihar Poll End Two Patna

While Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was projected as CM face of ruling NDA, RJD leader Tejasvi Prasad Yadav was made CM face of Grand Alliance. Both NDA and Grand Alliance had emerged as two main power contenders in ongoing Bihar assembly Elections.
JD(U), BJP, Hindustani Awam Morcha and Vikassheel Insan Party (VIP) are constituents of NDA while RJD, Congress CPI, CPI (M) and CPI (ML) are constituents of Grand Alliance. Former Union Minister and RLSP Chief Upendra Kushwaha had floated another front, Grand Democratic Secular Front (GDSF) comprising BSP, AIMIM and other smaller parties.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mr Kumar had spearheaded campaign of NDA while Tejasvi Prasad Yadav had the responsibility to seek votes for Grand Alliance in all three phases of Bihar Assembly Elections. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi had also campaigned for Grand alliance candidates.
Prime Minister Mr Modi and Chief Minister Mr Kumar besides highlighting the achievements of NDA government, both at the centre and in Bihar, had also cautioned the people not to fall in the trap of
RJD led Grand Alliance, saying there would be second phase of jungleraj in Bihar that had prevailed in the state for 15 years during aadi raising since 1990, if the Grand Alliance was voted to power.
They also countered the promise of RJD leader Mr Yadav about giving government jobs
10 lakhs youths, saying it was not possible and promise was only poll gimmick.
RJD leader Mr Yadav had promised 10 lakh government jobs to youths and said it would be
historic moment as Bihar would be first state provide such a huge number of government jobs,
if RJD was voted to power. Mr Yadav had challenged both Mr Modi and Mr Kumar to talk about real issues rather than spading up what had happened in past. Mr Chirag Paswan whose party is with NDA at the Centre but contesting separately in ongoing Bihar Assembly elections, had raised the issue of rampant corruption in execution of schemes of seven resolves of Nitish Kumar government.
Chief Minister in a public meeting in Dhamdaha seat had declared the ongoing Bihar Assembly Elections as his last Assembly elections and apparently tried to cash to emotions of the
people for electoral advantage. Mr Kumar had asked people to support his candidates, saying , " all is well that ends well".
