Karnataka registers 2258 new cases of COVID-19

Bengaluru, Nov 7(UNI) Karnataka on Saturday reported 2258 fresh cases of COVID-19 and 22 fatalities in the last 24-hours, taking the total number of cases to 844147 and deaths to 11360.
According to official sources, as many as 2235 COVID-19 patients, got discharged in the last 24-hours after
completely cured from the disease.
The Bengaluru Urban district, registered a highest number of 1046 new COVID-19 cases followed by
Bagalakote 24, Ballari 55, Belagavi 19, Bengaluru Rural 70, Bidar 2, Chamarajanagara 13, Chikkaballapura 56,
Chikkamagaluru 63, Chitradurga 98, Dakshina Kannada 72, Davanagere 44, Dharwada 12, Gadaga 7,
Hassana 83, Haveri 26, Kalaburai 24, Kodagu 18, Kolara 19, Koppala 22, Mandya 68, Mysuru 79, Raichuru 8,
Ramanagara 28, SHivamogga 24, Tumakuru 165, Udupi 18, Uttara Kannada 29, Vijayapura 58 and
Yadagiri district 8.
In the last 24-hours as many as 106317 persons, had undergone COVID-19 tests, including that of
27823 of the Rapid Antigen Detection tests, the sources added.

Give PF pension in accordance to salary within six months: Kerala High Court

Kochi, Nov 07 (UNI) Kerala High Court on Saturday directed to pay Provident Fund pension in accordance with salary within six months as per the previous order.
A division bench comprising Justices A M Shefeeq and P Gopinath directed to implement the court order issued on October 12, 2018, after settling around 80 contempt of court cases questioning the non-implementation of the previous verdict.
