Two personal staff of CMO test positive to COVID

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 7 (UNI) Two personal staff of the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) of Kerala were admitted to the Medical College Hospital hereafter they tested positive to the COVID-19.
The Chief Minister's political secretary Dinesh Puthalath and Additional Private Secretary CM Raveendran were diagnosed with the disease, hospital sources said.
Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had served a notice to CM Raveendran to appear for interrogation at their Kochi office on Friday in connection with money laundering case related to M Sivasankar, former principal secretary to the chief minister, in connection with alleged Life Mission Housing Project scam.
But, he could not appear before the ED on Friday due to COVID.

Give PF pension in accordance to salary within six months: Kerala High Court

Kochi, Nov 07 (UNI) Kerala High Court on Saturday directed to pay Provident Fund pension in accordance with salary within six months as per the previous order.
A division bench comprising Justices A M Shefeeq and P Gopinath directed to implement the court order issued on October 12, 2018, after settling around 80 contempt of court cases questioning the non-implementation of the previous verdict.
