Modi to give several gift to his Varanasi constituency on Diwali

Varanasi, Nov 7(UNI) Prime minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation of "Smart Kashi", for converting his parliamentary constituency as smart city virtually on November 9.

Under the project, all the wards in the city would be renovated. Besides, it will also launch the Rs 128 crore Advance Surveillance Camera in which 3000 CCTV cameras would be installed in the city.

According to official sources here on Saturday, the PM will also lay foundation and inaugurate 33 projects worth over Rs 620 crores on the occasion which will include, multi level parking at Beniabagh, renovation of the Krikhiyaghat, light and sound project at Saranath along with 101 Ashray centre and105 Anganbari.

Sources said that the programme on next Monday will be held at 1030 hours when PM will wish his voters on the occasion of Diwali. UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath will join the programme from Lucknow.

Divisional commissioner Deepak Agarwal said that 5000 people would be connected virtually for this programme in the district.

Niwari, MP, Nov 6 (UNI) Endeavours are continuing to save a five-year-old who fell into a borewell at approximately 1000 hrs on Wednesday in the vicinity of Saitpura village, law-enforcement authorities said.
Prahlad Kushwaha met with the accident while playing. National Disaster Response Force personnel are part of the rescue mission.
