Strictly follow guidelines of EC regarding printing material, collector to printers

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Nov 7 (UNI) All the printers and publishers will strictly have to abide by the guidelines of the Election Commission regarding printing material, collector and assistant Returning officer Sunil Chavan told the printers and publishers in the district on Saturday.
Presiding over a meeting held at the collectorate here ahead of the Aurangabad Division Graduate Constituency of the Maharashtra Legislative Council election, he said the collectorate will have control over the printing and publication of material such as election leaflets and posters.
It is mandatory for the printers or the publishers to publish the names, addresses and number of copies on the front of election leaflets or posters, he said.
Also, the printers will have to submit information regarding the printing of election posters, leaflets, etc., to the collector's office in the prescribed format and in time, Mr Chavan added.
