'I have only a music party': Vocalist Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty says after meeting Amit Shah

Kolkata, Nov 6 (UNI) Vocalist Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty on Friday ruled out joining
the BJP and said he has only a "Music Party', the Padma Bhusan classical singer
opined after meeting with Union Home minister Amit Shah.
" It is a great honour for me that the union home minister wanted to see us and
came down to our place,' the 68-year-old maestro said.
" I am not BJP, nor Congress, nor TMC neither am CPI (M). I have only a music
party," the singer told reporters at his Shrutinandan house in Tollygunge, South
Kolkata.
Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty is an Indian Hindustani classical vocalist. He was awarded
the Padma Bhushan Award, the third-highest civilian award in India in 2020.
