HP: 4 die, 430 new nCoV cases recorded in hilly state

Shimla, Nov 6 (UNI) Four died and 430 new nCoV cases registered in the state on Friday in the state Government officials said.
A state Government press release said that 430 new cases of Corona Virus recorded in the state as 121 in Mandi, 92 in Shimla, 46 in Kinnaur, 31 each in Solan and Una, 27 in Kullu, 26 in Kangra, 20 in Bilaspur 15 in Chamba, eight in Lahaul Spiti, seven in Hamirpur and Six in Sirmaur.
With four deaths in state death toll increased to 359 state two each died in Mandi one each in Lahaul Spiti and Chamba.
Now toll increased to 81 in Shimla, 74 in Kangra, 46 in Mandi, 40 in Solan, 33 in Kullu, 19 in Chamba 18 Sirmaur, 16 in Hamirpur, 15 in Una, eight in Bilaspur, seven in Kinnaur & two in Lahaul Spiti.

Total tally went up to 24,239 in the state and active cases increased to 3,841 and recovered 20,016 and 17 migrated to other states.

Shimla, Nov 6 (UNI) Special Investigation unit recovered a heavy catchy of hashish (charas) from the possession of three persons when it intercepted a vehicle at Jubal area of the district this afternoon
Superintendent of police Mr Mohit Chawla said that SIU Shimla recovered 1.357 kg charas from the possession of three persons identified as Teerth Thapa s/o Dharam Datt, Raju S/O Ganga ram and Pawan thapa s/o Tilak raj all of them are from Nepal National.

Jammu, Nov 6 (UNI) Taking a strong exception to utterances by some of the leaders of so-called mainstream Kashmir - centric political parties like PDP and National Conference, without naming them, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh stated on Friday that no political party in India can ever afford to restore back Article 370 and the unsubstantiated assertions made by these leaders are only motivated by a desperate attempt to hold back the ground which is fast slipping from under their feet.
