COVID-19: Karnataka reports 2960 cases, 35 deaths

Bengaluru, Nov 6 (UNI) With the detection of 2960 fresh COVID-19 cases, the total tally in the state surged to 8,41,889 on Friday.
According to official sources, as many as 35 more persons succumbed to the COVID-19 disease accounting for a total number of deaths to 11,347 in the state.
The sources said that in the last 24-hours as many as 2701 COVID-19 patients, got discharged from various hospitals after being completely cured from the deadly disease.
The Bengaluru Urban district reported a highest fresh 1568 cases of the covonavirus infections on Friday
followed by Bagalakote25, ballari 66, Belagvi 32, Bengaluru Rural 69, Bidar 1, Chamarajanagara 18, Chikkaballapura 32, Chikkamagaluru 42, Chitradurga 36, Dakshina Kannada 79, Davanagere 44, Dharwada 33, Gadag 5, Hassana 97, Haveri 6, Kalaburagi 32, Kodagu 28, Kolara 48, Koppala 16, Mandya 119, Mysuru 148, Raichuru 17, Ramanagara 32, Shivamogga 57, Tumakuru 161, Udupi 61, Uttara Kannada 17 and Yadagiri district 18.
In the last 24-hours as many as 110137 COVID-19 tests had been conducted including that of 27098 of the Rapid Antigen Detection test, the sources added.
