Family of police wireless operator seek help to retrieve body from river in Jammu

Srinagar, Nov 6 (UNI) Family members and other relatives of a police wireless operator from Baramulla, who drowned in a river in Jammu recently, on Friday staged a dharna in Srinagar seeking help from administration to retrieve the body.
Wireless operator Altaf Ahmad Rather, a resident of Pattan, Baramulla was killed when a vehicle he was travelling in fell into river Chenab in Jammu region. However, a massive hunt was launched but his body could not be retrieved.
The family members, including women, of Rather staged a dharna at press Enclave near here holding placards in their hands which reads “help us to recover the body of our loving brother”, find the body of our brother”.
They seek the help of administration to retrieve the body of Rather.
